Gilbert Youth Flag Football League was founded with a mission that The Kids Come 1st

We are an established and experienced NFL Flag program with many years of experience. We offer a full season with pre-season scrimmages, and a season ending championship tournament. We also provide opportunities for our teams to compete in regional and national tournaments. We are a preferred league of the Arizona Cardinals Youth Football Program and a member of the Town of Gilbert Sports Coalition.

GYFL currently runs 2 flag football seasons each year.

The spring season will generally begin in late February or early March and always ends the weekend prior to Memorial Weekend. The fall season begins the weekend after Labor Day and will always conclude the weekend prior to Thanksgiving. Practices for each season generally begin 2-3 weeks prior to the season beginning. We begin each season with a day of scrimmages where teams are allowed time to practice against other teams to prepare for game days. Games are played on Friday Nights and/or Saturdays. Saturday games in spring having morning to early afternoon games and fall having afternoon to early evening games. We also schedule Friday night games where teams will be able to play at least one of their games under the lights.
